Fergus has also recorded at the BBC and STV and showcased for all the major record labels EMI / SONY/ Polygram etc in the UK with various projects over the years. Fergus has also played various tour dates on percussion for Steve Cradocks band with members of Ocean Colour Scene.

Dave Major

For over 20 years Dave has been obsessed with drums and the pursuit of drumming perfection. He’s carried this obsession into his online drum lesson videos that have been viewed millions of times by drummers all over the world.

Through his Instagram, YouTube and Online Drum School, Dave helps drummers practice smarter and unlock their own unique voice behind the drum kit.

As well as teaching and producing videos, he is an active clinician performing all over the UK including at the Glasgow Drum Day, UK Drum Show and back here at Dumfries Drum Day.

Exhibitors

Some of the UK's most exciting music and drum companies and even prestigious examination boards are joining us this year. More TBC...

Duallist

As played by El Estepario Siberiano!

Drums, pedals and accessories. Duallist offer unique drum pedals allowing for 2 beaters to be played on one foot. Get hands on (or feet) in the exhibitor area and see if you can get the top score in the fastest drummer competition.

ToneAlly

As seen on Dragon's Den!

Tony will also be holding a hands on workshop at his booth.

ToneAlly is the world’s first percussion teaching tool which focuses on the vertical movement of the drum stick. ‘ToneAlly’ trains your drum stroke to follow the correct trajectory, something that would normally take many years of practice to develop.

Music enhances emotions, cuts through social and political barriers and lifts spirits whether you are making or listening to it. Music is universal and we are all on our own musical journey whether we create, play or consume.
